KITEHOP RED SEA GUIDES · ACTIVITY

Red Sea diving spaces: choose the programme, then the place.

A free seat is not enough to make a dive trip right for you. KiteHop is preparing listings for diving boat days and scuba liveaboards, with the information travellers need to discuss suitability with the operator.

Three enquiries that should stay distinct

Certified diving, an introductory experience and a training course are different programmes. A listing should make clear which is offered. Share your relevant qualifications and recent experience directly with the dive operator before considering a place confirmed.

A scuba liveaboard adds a route, cabin arrangement and several days aboard. Its entry requirements may differ from a local day boat. Confirm the particular itinerary’s requirements rather than relying on a general destination description.

Day boat or nights aboard?

For a day boat, compare the number of planned dives, the guide arrangement, equipment, transfers and total time out. For a liveaboard, also compare cabin occupancy, meals, boarding arrangements and extra charges.

If you travel with non-divers, ask whether suitable companion or snorkelling arrangements exist on that departure. A mixed group should not assume all guests can use the same programme or that every boat offers alternative activities.

Use the destination to plan the journey

El Gouna and Hurghada offer boat-based diving options to investigate. Soma Bay includes house-reef and boat formats. KiteHop’s focus is boat-based spaces, so shore access or a course at a land-based centre may be a separate arrangement.

Before arranging travel around a departure, confirm the marina, requirements and schedule with the operator. Public diving listings are still being prepared on KiteHop. Register your interest with dates, area and preferred trip format; the signup is not a booking.

Useful questions

Can I register if I am a new diver?

Yes. State what you are looking for. The eventual operator must confirm which programme is suitable and its requirements.

Can I book a scuba liveaboard here now?

No. KiteHop is currently collecting launch registrations while public listings are prepared.

Does KiteHop assess diving eligibility?

No. That assessment and the trip requirements belong to the dive operator.
